Some races are run habitually, keeps you fit and notches up another successful challenge. Having fulfilled your ambition, it’s all up to us to deliver on our promise and I think we do that in a unique manner. Firstly we select pleasant venue’s to mingle and have the banter with other contestants, assist your body recovery with proper hot food, great goodie bags & T shirt etc. But for many competitors its all about the “bling” and that’s something that has Extreme North strides ahead

Staying fit and healthy while pregnant is something you should strive for. However, it doesn’t have to be the struggle it seems to be. There is no reason why you cannot stay active, challenge yourself, and enjoy the process.
Stay with whatever fitness regime your most comfortable with whether it’s, Cycling, Gym, Running and even Extreme North Events have softer options for different fitness levels even pregnancy.
Choose an exercise regime and level that your comfortable with and that will help you maintain, or increase, your levels of fitness. You don’t have to do exercise alone either, include family, friends or partner.
All expectant women should ensure they discuss any exercise or challenges with their healthcare team but there is no reason a healthy pregnant woman can’t consider a physical challenge.
